Gold 10k set cameo pendant

This hand carved pink shell (Strombus Giga) cameo is held by four prongs in 10K yellow gold oval picture frame pendant with a marvelous filigree surround and chevron bail. This was made by E. S. Feinstein & Company in NYC most likely before WWI. The woman in the cameo has a classic Edwardian hairstyle with a large Mantilla style comb in the front, one shoulder loosely draped  in fabric. The modern 10K Singapore chain's soft, gently twisting look is perfect for the pendant. Spring ring clasp. In exceptional antique condition. 

♦ Dimensions: Cameo is 20 x 10 x 5 mm. Pendant including bail is 1 3/8 x 3/4 inch (3.6 x 1.8 cm). Chain is 17 inches long and .5 mm wide. Weight of pendant is 1.9 grams. Weight of chain is .4 grams.
